End of the special project Ukraine: New start through foundation for Ukrainian refugees
LOK.a.Motion GmbH draws a positive conclusion at the end of its special project as part of the neustart.plus project for Ukrainian refugees. The reporting period from January 1 to November 27, 2023 shows that the start-up advice is a great success and makes an important contribution to the integration and inclusion of Ukrainians in Berlin.

At the neustart22 expert forum, we discussed the practice and future issues of start-up advice for people with refugee experiences and from third countries. Representatives from business, administration and politics were guests on two panels and in the audience. The range of topics discussed was wide and ranged from the job center's approach, the promotion of women and professional recognition to the question of financing start-up projects and the federal government's citizen's allowance reform. Among the many entrepreneurs in Berlin, people with a migration background make up a significant proportion, and this number is constantly growing. LOK.a.Motion GmbH has been providing start-up support for people with refugee experiences and from third countries for seven years now. From the large pool of people seeking advice in recent years, LOK selected six entrepreneurs to be nominated for the special prize.
